The Test of Mindfulness this week
Have you ever been so overwhelmed that you can't think? I think we all experience this from time to time. This week in particular seemed to test myself and other people in my circle. I am not sure if it was the full moon or the energy forces out there this week, but everything felt overwhelming and off. Almost every client I saw this week said this and my tribe also said the same thing. Although my week was filled with good news all around the good news coming all at once and the actions that need to be taken seemed so overwhelming I just had to stop for a bit and take breath.
This is where living a mindful life really can be tested. We get all caught up in an overwhelming sense of stress that it feels like such a weight on our backs and we can't move. I like to look at my calendar and spread things out so I don't have cluttered mornings every day. However this past week it seemed like every morning was filled with something. So today..I am going to look at the calendar for next week and be sure that the clutter is spread out a bit. I am going to take today and do my errands early and home work early and just rest. Breath, journal and relax. Get back in the mindful place so I can re-energize for the week. Gain clarity, gain control.
Refilling my personal self will get back to center.
